How to Play Bloxorz

To play Bloxorz, use the arrow keys to move the block across the level and guide it into the hole. While the goal may seem straightforward, the game presents a challenging mental workout that becomes increasingly difficult as you advance. There are 33 levels to tackle in total.

As you progress, new puzzle elements are introduced to raise the level of difficulty. These include switches, special tiles, multiple blocks, and various mechanisms that add complexity to each puzzle.

Understanding Switches and Tiles

Bloxorz features three different types of switches. The first is the circle switch, which activates when the block lands on it in any position, commonly known as a “soft” switch. The second type is the X-shaped switch, which only works if you land the block upright. The third type, shaped like parentheses (), teleports the block to different spots and splits it into two smaller blocks in the process.

There are also orange tiles, which are weaker than regular tiles. If the block stands upright on these tiles, they will fall through.
