How to Play City Takeover

In City Takeover, you control the blue team with the objective of capturing buildings and expanding your population, all while competing against the red team. You will also encounter other colors, such as yellow and green, that present their own challenges to your empire-building efforts.

The game begins with a single building where your population increases over time. Your goal is to capture neutral (gray) or enemy (red) buildings by directing your population to invade them, dismantling their structures and rebuilding them in blue. To do this, you must form paths from your building to theirs. Multiple paths can be created from a single building, offering flexibility in your strategy.

Using triangular buildings is effective when creating paths towards enemy structures, as they can destroy enemy buildings more quickly.

Circular buildings, on the other hand, are better for reinforcing your own weaker buildings since they speed up the rebuilding process of your structures.

By having a larger population than the enemy or neutral building’s occupants, you will take control and further grow your population. Strategic thinking is essential—balance the expansion of your population with capturing new buildings while avoiding stronger enemy structures. As the game advances, you will encounter obstacles like walls, which increase the complexity of your attacks, requiring careful planning.

The paths you create are key to fortifying your empire. Try to link your blue buildings together as much as possible to strengthen your community.

It’s important to capture as many buildings as possible early in the game. The more buildings you control at the start, the faster your population will grow compared to your opponents.

Make the most of building types! Circular buildings help heal allied buildings faster, while triangular buildings deal more damage to enemy buildings. Use them wisely to gain an edge in battles.

You can also \"freeze\" your opponent\'s progress for a brief time, giving you a strategic advantage. This feature requires watching an ad, but it’s especially helpful during more difficult levels.
