Sandtrix is an innovative take on the classic Tetris game, where the blocks turn into sand as they land. The goal is to align blocks of the same color, creating a continuous color line from left to right. Once you complete a horizontal line, the pixels disappear, and you score points.

Game Modes

Sandtrix offers three unique game modes. The first, called the endless mode, challenges you to keep clearing sand as it fills the screen. The speed of the game increases over time, and when the blocks stack up to the top, the game ends.

The other modes feature similar rules, with key differences. In the high-score mode, the goal is to score as many points as possible within 3 minutes. The rules are the same as endless mode, but time is limited. Meanwhile, clear 40 mode requires you to clear exactly 40 rows, with no time limit—but be careful not to make any mistakes!

In all game modes, clearing a pixel earns you one point. You can also achieve combos, which multiply your score by up to 10x, if you clear multiple rows in quick succession.

Difficulty

Sandtrix offers three levels of difficulty. In easy mode, the play area is wide open, and the block drop speed is moderate. As you move up to medium and hard modes, the speed intensifies and the space available to place your blocks shrinks. Hard mode is particularly tough, so it’s recommended to get comfortable with the easy setting before tackling higher difficulties.
