Kingdom of Pixels is a 2D multiplayer side-scrolling MOBA and platformer game, drawing inspiration from popular titles like League of Legends and DOTA 2. Its pixelated art style evokes a sense of nostalgia and simplicity, giving the game a charming and accessible vibe.

In this game, players select from a wide range of heroes and aim to defeat the opposing team by destroying their crystal. By taking down enemy minions and heroes, you earn gold to upgrade items and gain experience to level up and increase your strength. Strategic use of map elements like Runes and Brushes can tilt the odds in your favor and help you dominate the match.

With numerous heroes and item options, every game offers a fresh and unique experience. You can pick either melee or ranged heroes, each capable of dealing normal or magic damage, and tailor your item build to match your playstyle. It’s all about using strategy and smart planning to outwit and overpower your opponents.

Currently in its Pre-Alpha phase, the game is still being refined, and many exciting features are planned for future updates.

How to Play

You can only purchase items from your spawn, so plan your item purchases carefully before venturing into the lanes.
To win, you must destroy the enemy crystal using your minions. You cannot damage the crystal directly, so your minions are essential to victory.
Break down enemy towers to create an opening to their crystal. This boosts the strength of your minions, giving you a crucial edge.

Tips and Strategies

The game starts with a 45-second preparation phase. Use this time to position yourself near the Gold Rune at the top of the map, which spawns at 00:00. This rune provides extra gold and can give you an early advantage.
When purchasing items, always keep enough gold for at least one Health Potion. The potion is vital for maintaining your health and staying in the lane longer. Be careful not to take damage while using it, as that will interrupt the healing process.
Buff Runes appear in the bottom area every minute, starting at 01:00. These buffs can be game-changers, especially in 2v2 matches, so try to grab them whenever possible.
